Day wise Itinerary











Day 1 – Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and meet your Travel Connection representative for a warm welcome and relaxed transfer to the hotel. Short orientation and easy evening stroll near the hotel, followed by a light welcome dinner introducing Indian flavours and spice levels in a gentle way for UK/IE/ES guests.

Day 2 – Old & New Delhi: History and Flavours
Guided Old Delhi walking tour with a short cycle-rickshaw ride, focusing on history, architecture and safe, curated street-food tastings.
Visit Jama Masjid courtyard and the spice market, then continue to New Delhi to see India Gate and the Lutyens area, with an optional high tea in a heritage hotel.
Day 3 – Delhi → Agra & Sunset Taj View
Drive to Agra, check in and take some rest at the hotel. Evening visit to Mehtab Bagh for a beautiful sunset view of the Taj Mahal and relaxed photography away from the main crowds.

Day 4 – Sunrise Taj Mahal & Mughal Heritage
Early-morning guided visit to the Taj Mahal for sunrise, with plenty of time for photos and stories about its history.
Visit Agra Fort and a local craft workshop (marble, inlay or handicrafts) presented as a cultural demonstration rather than a shopping stop, with an optional Mughal-history storytelling session in the hotel garden.
Day 5 – Agra → Jaipur via Countryside
Scenic drive from Agra to Jaipur with a possible stop at Abhaneri stepwell or a small village for chai and a controlled, safe local interaction. Evening at leisure in Jaipur or join a gentle, guide-led bazaar walk for textiles, jewellery and handicrafts.

Day 6 – Jaipur Forts, Palaces & Culture
Morning visit to Amber Fort with jeep ride up (no elephant rides), taking time for views and photo stops.
Explore City Palace courtyards and Jantar Mantar, then in the evening enjoy a culture-focused experience such as a Rajasthani folk performance or a relaxed, small-group cooking and spice session.

Day 7 – Jaipur Slow Morning → Fly to Kochi
Relaxed morning for last-minute shopping, café time or a short optional visit with your guide. Afternoon or evening flight to Kochi, followed by a short, easy harbourfront walk if time and energy permit.

Day 8 – Kochi Heritage & Port City Charm
Gentle heritage walking tour covering Chinese fishing nets, Fort Kochi lanes, St. Francis Church and the old spice quarters/synagogue area (subject to opening days).
Stop at a curated art or heritage café for tea/coffee and snacks, with time to rest and soak in the atmosphere.
Day 9 – Kochi → Munnar (Tea Country)
Scenic drive up to Munnar with photo stops at viewpoints and waterfalls as per comfort levels. Evening at leisure with an optional short plantation or nature walk around the resort.
Day 10 – Munnar Tea Immersion
Visit the tea museum, enjoy a guided walk through tea gardens and see a working tea factory with a proper tasting session. Quiet afternoon at your tea-country hotel or heritage-style stay, ideal for reading, walks and photography at your own pace.

Day 11 – Munnar → Periyar (Wildlife & Spices)
Drive to Thekkady and check in at a nature lodge close to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Guided spice plantation walk with interactive explanations and tastings of local spices used in Indian and global cuisine.

Day 12 – Periyar Lake & Soft Activities
Morning shared boat ride on Periyar Lake for a chance to spot wildlife in a calm, safe setting. Afternoon optional soft activities such as an easy guided forest walk or bamboo rafting (subject to fitness and park rules), with ample free time to relax by the pool or in the gardens.
Day 13 – Periyar → Kumarakom / Alleppey Backwaters
Drive down from the hills to the backwaters and check into a lakeside resort or homestay. Evening canoe ride at sunset with birdwatching and village views, keeping the pace gentle and camera-friendly.

Day 14 – Alleppey: Backwaters & Beach
Day to explore the Alleppey area at an easy pace, with time for the beach, short local walks or simple village experiences. Overnight at a comfortable Alleppey or backwaters stay, ideal for relaxing towards the end of the trip.
Day 15 – Houseboat Experience & Departure
Board a traditional Kerala houseboat around midday for a slow cruise through canals, villages and paddy fields, with freshly prepared meals on board.
Depending on your flight time, either disembark and proceed to Kochi airport the same evening, or adjust at booking stage to keep one last relaxed night in Kochi.
